Local Caesar Competes to Be Best in the Country

It looks weird but it tastes amazing

Mott’s Clamato is giving away $25,000 to the country’s best caesar, and we’re pretty sure it’s this one

It’s spicy. It’s delicious. It’s a bit ridiculous.

It’s the Coast to Coast Caesar.

This incredible drink is topped with seafood from the East Coast to the West Coast. And its makers want it to become the best caesar in Canada.

You can get one if you visit the Cow Café in Cowichan Bay just south of Duncan. They’re the ones who are making the drink. They were one of 30 restaurants to participate in the Mott‘s Clamato competition for the country’s best caesar.

Owner and chef Matt Heyne calls it the “love letter to Canada.”

There are only 10 restaurants left in the competition, and the Coast to Coast is the only one in BC.

The winning restaurant will get $25,000. And bragging rights, of course.

You can vote for Cow Café and their fabulous caesar between July 8th and August 4th.

Go to the Mott’s Clamato contest page and help a Vancouver Island hopeful win the competition!
