Did Your Kid Come Home Covered in White Paint?

Comox RCMP are searching for the person causing "absurd mischief" in the Valley

Someone is wrecking cars in Comox, the question is why?

We’ve all played pranks before. But most of the time, there’s a reason. Someone has it coming.

But these pranks just seem…awkward?

Someone’s been pouring white paint and/or oil into random people’s cars in Comox. Yep—inside the cars.

RCMP are busy searching for the “who.”

We’re most curious about the “why.”

Is it a political statement? A mad ex-boyfriend who couldn’t remember what his ex’s car looked like?

A kid whose sense of humour is still under construction?

Constable Monika Terragni is the media relations officer for Comox Valley RCMP. “This appears to be a random, completely absurd, act of mischief,” she said in the statement.

The Comox Valley RCMP said this happened at about 2:30 a.m. on July 10.

Two suspects “poured oil all over the driver/passenger seats and the centre console” of some vehicles and “coated the interior” of others with “a white, powdery paint,” according to RCMP’s statement.

Random?

We’re curious. So, if you recognize this face, please let RCMP (and then us) know so we can hear the full story.
