Vancouver Field Naturalist member Rick C West shared this hilarious video of a curious bear getting up close and personal with his game camera.
Rest assured – the camera survived the ordeal. “Had a few chew marks and a broken lens but was easily repaired,” he said.
What made the bear so interested is up for debate.
“Some black bears must be attracted by a possible human smell or the interesting object within their range … or don’t want to be videoed.”
Either way, it definitely makes for some funny footage!
